Google Search Results Explained →
Matt Cutts is the leader of Google’s webspam team. He put together a simple, short video explaining Google’s search results page.
The most useful part of this video to me was his explanation of how Google decides to display the snippet of information in the search results.

North America if the Losers Won →
This is really interesting to me. From the original article:
North America must have the lowest nation/surface ratio in the world. The huge subcontinent is made up of only two sovereign states: Canada and the US…[so] What is the most fragmented that North America could have been? [What if] every national identity crisis resolved itself in favor of the separatists instead?

Food →
A week after Thanksgiving and I’m still thinking about food. The reason is I’ve been holding on to a few food-related articles to show you.
If money were no object, this is what you could eat.
But if money is actually an object to be managed, here are a list of tips on how to make the most out of food-related things (videos and pictures included so you don’t have to read - my favorites).

Tonight at dinner, a friend was talking about someone who “is a friend of the Bush family”.
My wife replied, “Anheuser or the President?”
Best response ever.
Comment on Failure in the Bedroom by Gloria Chen →
The “Sleep Tight” saying comes from how the bed were constructed back in the pioneering days. When one turns in for the night, one would tighten up the cloth slats underneath the mattress support. Thus the history in the phrase “Sleep Tight”
Failure in the Bedroom →
Rule Number One: Sleep Tight
Rule Number Two: Don’t let the bed bugs bite.
However, I think Rule Number One should be to sleep relaxed. Although it wouldn’t rhyme, you’d sleep better.
Either way, you just can’t fail at Rule Number Two.

Almost a year after pamoja. I believe God is doing more than enough the life of young christain leaders. i pray that in the next three years we would have PAMOJA festival of culture and dance and drama. Used cars are hard to price, because every one is different. I have found AutoTrader.com to be a good resource, as well as the completed listings on ebay.
We rented an intrepid once - it was pretty nice. I remember it being really big inside and a mafia trunk (room for three). I seem to recall that we got lower gas milage than we had expected, though.

Don’t ask me. Just visit the website, Is it Christmas?
Then subscribe to the RSS feed. You’ll be notified when it is indeed Christmas. You kinda have to read the RSS like a Jeopardy question, but you’ll get the hang of it.

I really enjoyed that first video you linked to.
If you found that short documentary piece interesting, you’d enjoy the film “Helvetica”; I watched it a few months ago when the film festival did the rounds. A very interesting film on the proliferation of the font Helvetica! http://www.helveticafilm.com/

Too close for comfort if you ask me. Sloppy game on both sides of the ball. I think we could’ve won by a lot more, but we missed a lot of opportunities.

People obsess about the weather. I’m not sure why, but I do too. I’ve always thought it would be fun to be a meteorologist. But to be one in Orlando isn’t that difficult with consistent weather and only three seasons (hot, hotter, and a bit cooler).
So it’s nice to get out and visit a place that has fall. We’ve been fortunate to see some beautiful colors lately. I took a small set of fall leaves...

True story: one Thanksgiving day when I was in my upper-teens, I was at my Grandmother Susans’ house for the big lunch. I love that meal! I just ate and ate and ate.
After the meal I went over to the couch to sit down. I leaned back and stretched. As I stretched, the button to my pants not only popped off, but flew several feet across the room!
I’ve only seen it happen in cartoons but there I...
